Cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4 and MT5

KoreSignal8 min read

A signal copier only works while your MetaTrader is open somewhere. We compare the three options (your computer, a rented VPS or the cloud) and show you how to connect your account in the cloud in a few minutes.

Walk through the demo with no sign-up, or try it free for 7 days in simulation, no card.

A channel posts a signal in the middle of the night. Your computer is asleep, your phone is on silent, and the signal goes by with nobody copying it. That is the core problem behind every Telegram signal copier: your MetaTrader has to be open somewhere for the order to reach your broker.

Until now there were only two answers: leave your computer on, or rent a VPS. There is a third one: a cloud signal copier, where your MetaTrader 4 or 5 is opened for you and keeps working while your computer and your phone are off. Here is an honest comparison of the three, and how the cloud connection works step by step.

Why your phone is not enough

The MetaTrader phone app lets you watch your account and place trades by hand, but it does not run expert advisors (EAs). That is why no copier that works inside MetaTrader can live on your phone alone: it needs a desktop MetaTrader open somewhere. If you want to handle everything from your phone, see how to copy Telegram signals from your phone.

The three options, compared

1. Your own computer

You install the copier in your MetaTrader and leave it open.

  • Pros: nothing extra to pay, and everything stays on your machine.
  • Cons: the computer has to stay on, awake and online for as long as you want to copy. A power cut, a Windows update that restarts, or a laptop that goes to sleep, and the signals from that window are lost.

2. A rented VPS

A VPS is a remote computer that stays on 24/7, where you install your MetaTrader.

  • Pros: it does not depend on your home or your computer.
  • Cons: it is one more monthly bill (basic trading plans typically cost somewhere between $5 and $30 a month, more if you run several accounts), and you set it up yourself: remote desktop, install MetaTrader, load the copier, and check it is still running after every restart. We cover it in depth in how to automate forex signals without a VPS.

3. A cloud copier

The service opens your MetaTrader for you, in its cloud, and copies your channels' signals there.

  • Pros: nothing to install, no VPS to rent or configure, and it works with your computer and phone off.
  • Cons: you have to enter your account's trading password so the service can open your MetaTrader. Below we explain what that password can and cannot do.

What KoreSignal Cloud is

KoreSignal lets you choose how to connect MetaTrader: in our cloud, or with the EA in your own MetaTrader. With the In the cloud option:

  • Nothing to install. We open your MetaTrader 4 or 5 in our cloud and the bot copies your channels' signals there.
  • No VPS and no computer on. Signals are copied even when your computer and your phone are off.
  • Any broker with MetaTrader 4 or 5. If your server is new to us, we look it up in MetaTrader's worldwide directory (the first time can take about 5 minutes).
  • Ready in minutes. Usually 1–2 minutes on MT5 and 1–3 minutes on MT4. The app shows the progress and lets you know by email and in your notifications when you are connected. If every cloud spot is busy at that moment, your connection starts by itself, in order of arrival, as soon as one frees up.
  • Included in the membership at no extra charge: from $17.50 a month on the annual plan, or $24.99 on the monthly plan. Details on pricing.

The usual rules still apply: lot size per channel, loss limits, filters by pair and trading hours, and handling of the channel's follow-up messages ("move SL to entry", "close half"). Everything the bot does is on the Telegram signal copier page.

How to connect your account in the cloud, step by step

  1. Open the app and go to Settings → Connection → In the cloud.
  2. Choose your MetaTrader version: MT4 or MT5. Not sure which one your account uses? See MT5 vs MT4 for copying signals.
  3. Type your broker's server name exactly as it appears in MetaTrader when you sign in.
  4. Type your account number.
  5. Type your trading password: the main one, not the read-only (investor) one.
  6. Tick the authorization so KoreSignal can sign in to that account to copy signals.
  7. Wait for the notice that your account is connected. From then on, the signals from your active channels are copied there.

If you were using the EA on your computer, KoreSignal pauses it once the cloud is ready, so no trade is copied twice. It is one MetaTrader account per user.

Before you connect: three things to check

  • Turn off the one-time password (OTP). If your account has the one-time password enabled in the MetaTrader app, the connection will not work. Disable it before connecting.
  • Use the trading password, not the investor one. The investor password only lets you look at the account; no trade can be opened with it.
  • Double-check the server. Brokers usually have separate servers for demo and live accounts, with similar names. Copy it exactly as it appears in your MetaTrader or in your broker's email.

Security: what your password can and cannot do

  • You type the password only inside the app. It is used only to open your MetaTrader and is kept protected.
  • KoreSignal never asks for it by chat, email, WhatsApp or Telegram. If someone asks you for it there, it is not KoreSignal.
  • A MetaTrader trading password can place and close trades, but it cannot withdraw or transfer money: withdrawals happen in your broker's client area, with different credentials.
  • You can disconnect the cloud at any time.

If you would rather your password never leaves your own machine, that option is still there: read copy signals without giving your broker password.

When the EA is still the better choice

The With the EA option is still available, and it makes sense if:

  • you already keep MetaTrader open 24/7 on your computer or on a VPS you already pay for;
  • you prefer your broker password to stay inside your own MetaTrader.

With the EA, KoreSignal never receives your password, but your MetaTrader has to stay open (computer on, or your own VPS). Setup is in how to copy Telegram signals to MetaTrader.

Start with the trial

The free trial lasts 7 days, with up to 5 channels, real prices and virtual money: simulation only, no card and no broker. Connecting MetaTrader, in the cloud or with the EA, requires a membership. That way you see how your channels' signals would have been copied before you connect an account.

Trading involves risk of loss. A copier executes signals faster and with your rules, but it does not turn a bad channel into a good one, and the market can jump past your stop in sharp moves.

FAQ

Can I copy Telegram signals to MT5 without a VPS and with my computer off?

Yes, with a cloud copier. With KoreSignal Cloud we open your MetaTrader 4 or 5 in our cloud, and signals are copied even while your computer and phone are off. With the EA, on the other hand, your MetaTrader has to stay open on your computer or your VPS.

Can I copy signals using only the MetaTrader phone app?

No. The MetaTrader phone app does not run expert advisors, so no copier can work inside it alone. You need MetaTrader open somewhere: your computer, a VPS, or the KoreSignal cloud.

What do I need to connect my account in the cloud?

Your MetaTrader version (MT4 or MT5), your broker's server name as it appears in MetaTrader, your account number and your trading password (the main one, not the investor one). You also tick an authorization so KoreSignal can sign in to that account.

Is it safe to enter my trading password?

You type it only inside the app; it is used only to open your MetaTrader and is kept protected. That password can place and close trades, but it cannot withdraw or transfer money. KoreSignal never asks for it by chat, email, WhatsApp or Telegram, and you can disconnect the cloud at any time.

How long does it take to connect, and does it work with my broker?

Usually 1–2 minutes on MT5 and 1–3 minutes on MT4. It works with any broker that offers MetaTrader 4 or 5; if your server is new to us, the first time can take about 5 minutes.

Does the cloud cost extra?

No. The membership includes both ways to connect MetaTrader, in the cloud and with the EA: from $17.50 a month on the annual plan or $24.99 on the monthly one. The 7-day free trial is simulation only and does not connect broker accounts.
